From creating the perfect venue in one of our stunning marquees to sourcing transport, entertainment or caterers, we will work with you every step of the way to ensure that even the smallest details are planned to perfection.
FULL OUTSIDE CATERING
Whether you are looking for simple, elegant canapés, a hog roast, lavish three course dinner or a chocolate fountain, Florida Marquees will be happy to recommend a caterer who can meet your exact requirements. We will liaise with your caterer throughout the run-up to your event, making sure that it runs as smoothly as possible.
DJS & ENTERTAINMENT
We are able to recommend DJs to create a fantastic party atmosphere. We will also source whatever entertainment will suit your event, from casino games to Ceilidh bands, singers to string quartets!
MOBILE BAR SERVICE
Florida Marquees can provide a bar service tailored to your exact requirements, whether it be decorating the bar to match your corporate logo, specially designed cocktail menus or even bar staff in themed costume to ensure your guests have a memorable time!
FLORAL DESIGN
We can recommend several different florists who will be able to design a wide range of floral arrangements, ranging from contemporary table centrepieces to traditional buttonholes and bouquets.
BALLOONS
Whether you are looking to create a stunning arched entrance to your marquee, exploding balloons over a dance floor, or colour coordinated corporate decoration, we will be happy to source exactly what you need.
EVENT INSURANCE
Our event insurance is available to cover all equipment on hire throughout the duration of your event.

DANCE FLOOR HIRE & STAGE HIRE
We have a fantastic range of quality Dance Floors which range from a small 4m x 4m up to the larger 10m x 8m Dance Floor.
The Styles we have available are:

- Light Oak Parquet
- Gloss White
- Gloss Black & White
All Dance Floors are finished with an aluminium edging strip.
We can also supply Stage Sections to suit your requirements. These come in 8′ x 4′ sections and are 12″ high. We can carpet the stage top to match your marquee carpet.
These can be hired within a marquee package or as a standalone hire.
We will also supply you with a CAD drawing of your Marquee which will give you an idea of space and layouts available.

LIGHTING
Marquee lighting is very important to the atmosphere and ambience of a marquee.
We offer a range of lighting for any occasion from chandeliers to fairy light canopies.
Different lighting options can be used together to create the perfect venue.
UPLIGHTERS/LED UPLIGHTERS
Uplighters can be used inside a marquee or venue to create a soft glow background lighting. We provide a full range of coloured gels to elegantly tint linings to match your chosen coloured scheme.
The LED Uplighters can be connected to a DMX Controller so you can be in control of your own colour and sequence.
CHANDELIERS
We have a selection of beautiful Chandeliers with our most popular being Pewter or Brass. The Chandeliers are installed with a Dimmer System enabling you to set the Ambience of your Marquee throughout the day.
These can replace Chandeliers for a more informal look.
CRYSTAL CHANDELIERS
We offer a crystal chandelier and a crystal shade. Either gives a very stylish theme to the marquee and both work well in the clear marquees.
FAIRY LIGHTS OR PEALIGHTS
Pea Light Canopies can be an addition to marquee lighting and transform even the most basic marquee they provide a spectacular but subtle blend of lighting. The Canopies can be used throughout the marquee or an Individual area.
PAPER LANTERNS
Paper lanterns can be used for any occasion. They can be either fun, elegant or both when used within a theme. Lanterns can be used in frame marquees, barns, village halls or our Celeste marquee.
FESTOON LIGHTING
Paper lanterns can be used for any occasion. They can be either fun, elegant or both when used within a theme. Lanterns can be used in frame marquees, barns, village halls or our Celeste marquee.
MARQUEE INTERIORS
We can provide a full range of quality marquee interiors for your special occasion. From our standard ivory pleated linings to ivory flat linings. Starlight linings are available in black and Pegasus ivory. We can also offer white linings in both flat and pleated.
We also have available assorted colours of swags to match your colour scheme.
Decorations such as paper lanterns, pom poms and bunting can be provided to give an individual feel to your event.
Our clear marquee range is also proving very popular – bringing the ouside in!
All our marquee interiors can be recreated inside your barn, shed, village hall, sports hall or any other suitable area.
EDISON BULB LIGHTING
Edison bulbs are now a very popular way of creating a vintage look within a marquee. We have several ways of incorporating the Edison bulbs into our lighting. We use LED bulbs which are dimmable to create ambient lighting.
BLACK STARLIGHT LINING
Black starlight lining is a cloth that covers the ceiling of the marquee and has led lights built in to create the feeling of a starlit night. Black walls can be added to create a dance or entertainment area.
IVORY STARLIGHT LINING
Ivory starlight lining covers the ceiling of the marquee and has led lights built in but is not as dark as the black starlight. Ivory pleated wall linings compliment the ivory starlight.
GENERATOR, TOILETS & HEATING

GENERATORS
At Florida Marquees you can hire our 20, 40, or 60kva Super Silent Generator to provide all the power you need for your event.
Also provided with this is a distribution board & 30m long power cable so the generator can be placed a good distance from your marquee, thus reducing any noise.
As part of our power distribution service we supply and install all your power sockets and lighting. All our electrical equipment is PAT tested. Your caterer will usually have the greatest power requirements so we usually provide them with 5 or 6 independent 4 gang sockets. Occasionally the caterer will need 32amp feeds for ovens and again we can accommodate this.
If the venue has a suitable power supply a single or three phase cable and distribution rack can be hired for a qualified electrician to install thus eliminating the need for a generator. We will liaise with your electrician during the process.
HEATING
At one time marquee hire was restricted to the summer months but now with our new American heaters marquees can be used all year round.
Our Ducted Warm Air Heating Systems produce a continuous circulation of warm air through the concealed low level ducts. The heaters are thermostatically controlled from within the marquee so no need to venture outside.
With their clean look, quiet operation and fuel efficiency our premier heater distribute safe dependable heating for any event all year round. These heaters really make marquee hire an all year round option.
TOILETS
We can provide you with Luxury Toilet Units for the more up market events or if you would like more everyday units we can also provide Unisex Units.
